Class Blog16th January 2018

Happy New Year!

Welcome back everybody to an exciting new term. We are launching a new topic all about Tudors and King Henry VIII’s wives and looking forward to finding out about mountains and volcanoes after half term. In Art we are looking at how relationships are represented whilst also having a go at new art techniques.

In science we have lots of experiments planned in order to investigate changes of state and the water cycle, including creating our very own ‘Mini Water Worlds’.

Reading:

As part of our homework in year 4, all children are expected to read regularly every week. Children will receive merits if they read 5 times in a week with the achievement being displayed on our class reading chart.

Home/School Planner:

Could you please ensure that your child brings their planners into school every day. Please feel free to write any comments in it you wish for the school to see.

Every Friday the class teachers sign your child’s planners for your child to bring home. Please can you ensure that parents/carers also sign this planner and return it to school on Monday.
