TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED at Stanwick School
Salary £5413.38 per annum for 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 am to 12 noon Term time + 1 week
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. You will work with our teachers to provide both targeted support to individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and intervention to groups of children to accelerate their learning and progress. Other duties will include assisting in the preparation, use and display of equipment and resources and supervising children at break time; flexibility is essential.
The successful candidates will be expected to have a good general education to GCSE/O level standard or equivalent – including English and Maths and be competent in the use of IT. Ideally you will have previous experience of supporting children school; ideally in upper Key Stage 2. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others. Patience, initiative and a keen interest and motivation to support young people with their learning are also important.
